James A. Horning O.D.

Dr. James Horning is a board certified optometric physician who has been in practice since 1982. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Siena College and went on to the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Following his academics he served in the United States Army as Head of Pediatric Services. During his Career, Dr. Horning developed a strong interest in children’s vision following a rotation through the pediatric clinic at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He received additional training to work with vision therapy, autistic children and patients with traumatic brain injuries. Additionally, Dr Horning also works with patients in need of low vision devices.
